Here at The Nest I/O, we’re buzzing with excitement! 021Disrupt 2020 is only a few days away, and soon we’ll be opening our virtual gates to some of the biggest voices, conversations, and challenges of the tech and entrepreneurship community.
From 30th November till 5th December, we’re holding the biggest tech and entrepreneurship conference in Pakistan. 021Disrupt is a challenge that we willingly took up 3 years ago because we wanted to ensure that our startup community is given every opportunity to learn, grow, and get ahead in the game.
Each year, we try to beat ourselves at our game and make the next year’s event better than the last. This year, keeping in mind the safety and wellbeing of the members of our community, our team and volunteers, we decided to make 021Disrupt fully virtual, and also completely free of charge for everyone.
021Disrupt 2020 is bringing 60+ international and local speakers from diverse industries. 30+ investors and mentors are also joining in to have one-to-one conversations with more than 500+ startups across Pakistan. We’ve had over 4500 registrations and expect this year’s conference to be our biggest yet! Be it workshops, curated panels, or roundtables, the conference has everything for startups, professionals, and students.
This has meant that people are not only coming from all over the world to attend 021Disrupt but also that we were able to invite extraordinary speakers. We’ve brought on high profile people like Guy Kawasaki, Chief Evangelist of Canva, Mary Grove, Managing Partner at Bread and Butter Ventures, Ammar Hanafi General Partner at Moment Ventures, Amir Hussain from Spark Cognition and Chris Yeh, Co-founder of the Global Scaling Academy from the global community, while from our local community we are grateful for the presence of big industry names like Muhammad Aurangzeb, President and CEO at HBL, Ghias Khan, CEO and President at Engro Corporation, Amir Paracha, CEO and Chairman of Unilever Pakistan, Muneeb Maayr, Founder and CEO Bykea, Rabeel Warraich, Founder and CEO Sarmayacar and Aatif Aawan, Founding Managing Partner at Indus Valley Capital.
Of course, none of this would be possible without our sponsors who put their faith and trust in us, year after year, to bring 021Disrupt to life. We are grateful for their partnerships and participation in making sure that Pakistan’s startup community continues to grow and thrive.
See you all soon!
